Teaching is an expression of masculine energy. Once a teacher accepts a student, that student also becomes a part of the teacher's family. A man provides for his family. A teacher provides for his students, as they are his family.
He provides for them if he is not appreciated or loved.
He provides for them even if they do not consider his needs.
He provides for them even if they express no gratitude.
He provides for them even if they disrespect him with lies.
He provides for them even if they break their promises.
He provides for them even if they stray from the path of his teaching.
The teacher bears all that and continues to provide until his last breath. His love for his children cannot be destroyed.
Even if they quit the path, he continues to love them. Despite the distance. Despite all things.
Such is the demand that is placed on a teacher.
